Merino/superwash merino/silk spinning fiber: Scheherezade

Scheherazade is a rich and mysterious semi-solid combination of reddish purples ranging from deep raspberry through grape. Please note that while these braids were dyed on the same day, they came out of different dyepots and are slightly different.

It's dyed on a gorgeous blend of 40% merino, 40% superwash merino, and 20% tussah silk. Dye strikes each of the three fibers differently--the untreated merino has softer tones, the superwash merino is brighter and deeper, and the silk is gleaming and eyecatching--giving your yarn a subtle heathered look.
