Silk & Silver: Mithril

Inspired by Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings series, Mithril is a semi-solid blend of silvers and pale greys, with flecks of charcoal scattered throughout. It's handpainted on Silk & Silver, a fabulous blend of 63% superwash merino, 20% silk, 15% nylon, and 2% silver poly. Although it technically has the same percentage of twinkle as my other sparkle yarns, the glittery bits in this yarn are longer and a little more eye-catching, without being scratchy.

This yarn is the perfect little luxury. Treat yourself or someone else you love! The silver adds a subtle sparkle that would be perfect for a shawlette, a cowl, mitts, or more. Silk gives this yarn a beautiful drape. And the nylon even makes this yarn durable enough for socks, if you'd like a little bit of secret sparkle. 

Each skein is 3.5 oz and measures approximately 420 yards. Hand wash, lay flat to dry
