Willow Sock: Palaces Out of Paragraphs
Inspired by the song "Burn" from the musical Hamilton, Palaces out of Paragraphs is an immersion-dyed swirl of soft greens and blues, with accents of gold and smoky brown. This particular dyeing process creates very different skeins within the same dyepot. It's dyed on Willow, a 3-ply sock yarn spun from 80% superwash Blue-Faced Leicester (BFL) and 20% nylon. BFL's longer staple length makes it durable and more resistant to pilling, while its high luster gives colors richness and depth.
Each skein is 4 oz and 420 yards. Suggested needle size: U.S. 0-2. While this yarn can be machine washed and dried, hand washing in cold water is recommended to extend the life of your handmade items.
