Polwarth/Silk Ultra spinning fiber: Owl Moon, 4 oz

Owl Moon is named after one of my family's favorite children's books, a picture book written by Jane Yolen and illustrated by John Schoenherr. A bold combination of deep and icy blues, shadowy grey, snow white, and charcoal, it's dyed on 4 oz of Polwarth/Silk Ultra, a blend of 60% Polwarth wool and 40% tussah silk. Like my regular Polwarth/silk, the Polwarth provides structure and a beautiful bloom. The high percentage of silk will give your handspun a pearlescent glow, as well as drape and a beautiful hand.

Hand wash in cold water, lay flat to dry.
