Singular: Proto-Empathy, take 1
This was my first cut at the colorway that eventually became Empathy. It's a lavender semi-solid with violet and black speckles, hand dyed on Singular superwash sock-weight yarn, spun from 100% superwash merino. Singular is a lustrous, soft singles (no plies) yarn. It's perfect for shawls, scarves, cowls, and sweaters, but is not recommended for socks or other high-abrasion projects.
Empathy is my contribution to the Yarn for a Better World project, a collaborative fundraiser by participating Yarn Revolution alums. 20% of the proceeds from the sale of Empathy and its prototypes (like this colorway) will go to the Bellingham Food Bank.
Each skein is 4 oz and 434 yards. Suggested needle size: U.S. 0-2. Hand wash in cold water, lay flat to dry.
