Willow Sock: North Cascades

North Cascades is part of my ongoing National Parks colorway series. Named for the park closest to my home, it's a swirl of lichen and spruce greens, weathered brown, and grey. It's dyed using low-water immersion on Willow superwash sock yarn, a blend of 80% Blue-Faced Leicester and 20% nylon. This yarn is soft and fluffy, with that lovely BFL luster and resistance to pilling, and extra durability thanks to the nylon content. It's perfect for shawls, scarves, cowls, sweaters, and gloves, as well as socks.

Each skein is 4 oz and 420 yards. Suggested needle size: U.S. 0-2. While this yarn can be machine washed and dried, hand washing in cold water is recommended to extend the life of your handmade items.
