Cascara Silk: Empathy

Empathy is hand-dyed on Cascara Silk, a luxurious blend of 75% superwash merino, 15% cashmere, and 10% silk--as extravagantly soft as it sounds, with a beautiful luster and drape. Merino lends the yarn strength and resilience, cashmere gives it a velvety hand, and silk makes colors glow.

Each skein weighs 4 oz and measures approximately 400 yards, enough for a shawlette, a cowl, a pair of fingerless gloves. Hand wash in cold water, lay flat to dry.

Empathy is a vivid orchid glazed with deeper blues and purples. As a Yarn for a Better World colorway, 20% of proceeds will be split between the California Community Foundation's Wildfire Relief Fund and the Oregon Community Foundation's Wildfire Relief and Recovery Fund.
