Cascara Silk: Salish Sea
Salish Sea is a semisolid, randomly dyed combination of teals, turquoises, and smoky blues. It's handpainted on Cascara Silk, a luxurious blend of 75% superwash merino, 15% cashmere, and 10% silk--as extravagantly soft as it sounds, with a beautiful luster and drape. Merino lends the yarn strength and resilience, cashmere gives it a velvety hand, and silk makes colors glow.
Each skein weighs 4 oz and measures approximately 400 yards, enough for a shawlette, a cowl, a pair of fingerless gloves. Hand wash in cold water, lay flat to dry.
