Cascara Silk: The Singles (group 1)
I normally don't list skeins that are the last ones of their dyelot, as it takes quite a bit of time to photograph, color correct the files, and list. But then I thought that if I photographed them together, it could work.
From left to right, the colorways are:
- Slate, a semisolid grey, mostly midtones with silver and charcoal highlights.
- Persimmon, a burnt orange semisolid that has less golden tones than shown in the photo.
- Almond, a creamy beige and taupe colorway speckled with deeper browns
Only one skein is available of each!
These colorways are handpainted on Cascara Silk, a luxurious blend of 75% superwash merino, 15% cashmere, and 10% silk--as extravagantly soft as it sounds, with a beautiful luster and drape. Merino lends the yarn strength and resilience, cashmere gives it a velvety hand, and silk makes colors glow.
Each skein weighs 4 oz and measures approximately 400 yards, enough for a shawlette, a cowl, a pair of fingerless gloves. Hand wash in cold water, lay flat to dry.
