Merino/silk spinning fiber: Heirloom Carrots, 4 oz

Inspired by a watercolor painting, Heirloom Carrots is a vibrant blend of oranges, golds, and pinks, with bits of reddish purple and pale chartreuse. It's hand-painted on a gorgeous blend of 40% merino, 40% superwash merino, and 20% tussah silk. Dye strikes each of the three fibers differently--the untreated merino has softer tones, the superwash merino is brighter and deeper, and the silk is gleaming and eyecatching--giving your yarn a subtle heathered look.
