Camel Merino Silk spinning fiber: Wild Iris, 4 oz
Wild Iris is a gorgeous combination of butter yellow, soft sage, rich royal purple, and navy, cornflower, and almost-teal blues. It is handpainted on an incredibly soft, luminous blend of 40% baby camel down, 40% merino, and 20% mulberry silk, presented as a combed top. The camel down is incredibly light and warm, the merino lends the blend body and resilience, and the silk makes it all glow. Hand wash in cold water.
This listing is for one braid, approximately 4 oz.
When dyeing fiber, my top priority is creating an enjoyable spinning experience, where the fiber drafts easily and happily into yarn. I strive to make every braid a joy to spin.
What customers say about Huckleberry Knits fiber:
"Your fiber spins like butter! It just melts into yarn."
"[Your fiber] was an absolute delight to spin!!! My first Falkland I spun was a horrible experience........sticky and compacted. Other ravelers encouraged me to try Falkland again from a different dyer and it was so much nicer. But yours was wonderful! Thanks for the effort you put into quality fiber bases and great prep. I so appreciated it!"
