$ 27.00

Hypatia is part of my Stars in Her Eyes series, honoring female astronomers. Hypatia was a prominent astronomer, mathematician, and philosopher, born during the mid-300s in Alexandria, Egypt. She was one of the leading teachers of her time, and was murdered by a mob. Her death has come to symbolize the decline of science as the Roman Empire fell and the medieval period began.

Hypatia is a blend of vivid purples, fuchsias, and blues kettle-dyed with a black overwash. on Singular superwash sock-weight yarn, spun from 100% superwash merino.
