Willow Sock: Lady Sybil
Named for the youngest daughter of the Grantham family in the TV series "Downton Abbey," Lady Sybil is a soft but decidedly unbland combination of deep raspberry, pink, warm brown, pale sand and golds, dusty purple, and aqua. It's dyed on Willow superwash fingering yarn, a blend of 80% Blue-Faced Leicester and 20% nylon. This yarn is soft and fluffy, with that lovely BFL luster and resistance to pilling, and extra durability thanks to the nylon content. It's perfect for shawls, scarves, cowls, sweaters, and gloves, as well as socks.
Each skein is 4 oz and 420 yards. Suggested needle size: U.S. 0-2. While this yarn can be machine washed and dried, hand washing in cold water is recommended to extend the life of your handmade items.
