Willow Sock: Countess
Named for everyone's favorite snarky dowager from Downton Abbey, Countess is a lovely smoky purple tonal colorway, solid enough for complex stitch patterns but varied enough to keep even stockinette interesting. It's handpainted on Willow superwash fingering yarn, a blend of 80% Blue-Faced Leicester and 20% nylon. This yarn is soft and fluffy, with that lovely BFL luster, but still durable thanks to the nylon content. It's perfect for shawls, scarves, cowls, sweaters, and gloves, as well as socks.
Each skein is 4 oz and 420 yards. Suggested needle size: U.S. 0-2. While this yarn can be machine washed and dried, hand washing in cold water is recommended to extend the life of your handmade items.
