Willow Sock: Inara
Meet Inara, a new colorway named after the graceful and mysterious character on Firefly, the much-loved TV series by Joss Whedon. Inara is a swirl of rich deep turquoises, warm chestnut brown, soft dusty greens and tans, vibrant purple, and deep raspberry, dyed with a low-water immersion technique to encourage the colors to melt together in enchanting and unpredictable ways.
Inara is dyed on Willow superwash fingering yarn, a blend of 80% Blue-Faced Leicester and 20% nylon. This yarn is soft and fluffy, with that lovely BFL luster and resistance to pilling, and extra durability thanks to the nylon content. It's perfect for shawls, scarves, cowls, sweaters, gloves .. and, of course, socks!
Each skein is 4 oz and 420 yards. Suggested needle size: U.S. 0-2. While this yarn can be machine washed and dried, hand washing in cold water is recommended to extend the life of your handmade items.
