Willow Sock: Kaylee

Kaylee is named for the sweet, sunny ship's engineer in my beloved Firefly TV series, a lovely rainbow of black cherry, raspberry, orange, yellow, spring green, soft blue, and dusty purple. It's handpainted on Willow, a 3-ply sock yarn spun from 80% superwash Blue-Faced Leicester (BFL) and 20% nylon. BFL's longer staple length makes it durable and more resistant to pilling, while its high luster gives colors richness and depth.

Each skein is 4 oz and 420 yards. Suggested needle size: U.S. 0-2. While this yarn can be machine washed and dried, hand washing in cold water is recommended to extend the life of your handmade items.
